Imagine, if you will, combining a drag race and a relay race for dogs!
Flyball is a fast and furious sport, where a team of 4 dogs race one at a time over 4 jumps to retrieve a ball from a spring-loaded box and then back again.
The world's fastest teams run all 4 dogs through the relay in under 16 seconds!
Flyball is a great way to burn off excess energy in your active dog and have fun with the family pet. All dogs (large or small) in good physical condition are welcome to join us.
If you would like to join the team or come out or come out and watch a practice, please email the Captain.
The following video of BFFF at a tournament in Montreal will help give you a better idea of what flyball is. Warning: Turn the sound on your computer down low! Flyball is very exciting for the dogs and many can't help but express their feelings quite vocally. ;-)
